On Monday, the tribunal learned phone records and data recovered from phones logged Ms Wandelt repeatedly requesting Madeleine's mother for a genetic test during that period.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a trip in Portugal - is considered the most publicized missing child cases and is still open.

'I Don't Want Money'

Another voicemail, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm fat and unattractive like Madeleine was, but I believe what I feel."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's voicemail said: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? What then? Wouldn't that be significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a living here in Poland, I just want to understand," the recording stated.

The tribunal was told that via electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.

The investigator, an investigator with Leicestershire Police who compiled the data, advised the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted close associates of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "a wrong number."

That day Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I will persist and I intend to demonstrate my point."

The court was informed the co-defendant struck up a relationship online with Ms Wandelt before joining her on a appearance to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had contacted through communication app to Mrs McCann to express the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she deserved to be treated respectfully in the months before the appearance to the village, Leicestershire, in December 2024.

The court heard message exchanges between the two individuals, in last November, planning attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her trash or from silverware at a eating establishment.

"We need to take action," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the appearance to their residence, the defendant transmitted a communication which said: "We find ourselves sitting adjacent to the McCanns' house with our vehicle dark like private investigators. I had hoped to accomplish this with another person I didn't imagine I would be doing that with the McCanns."

The trial continues.
