The woman, who also did not mention the athlete directly, shared a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the Chiefs selected in the 2023 draft.
Police Reports Reportedly Unavailable
No police reports were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the alleged abuse is said to have taken place.
Rice's Prior Legal Issues
Rice missed the first six games of this season due to an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a crash on a Texas roadway that resulted in several individuals hurt. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses.
Statistically, Rice concluded the season with 53 receptions for 571 receiving yards and five TDs as the Kansas City went 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
